Pictures from the Giants World Series Riot you Haven't Seen in Other Victory Riots

Yes, this last shot isn’t unique. To the extent the celebration turned ugly, however, there were factors at play beyond the influence of alcohol or just generalized acting out. The splashy and stylish Vida apartment project going up on Mission, however, is emblematic of the rampant tech-driven monoculture and the overwhelming population displacement that has overwhelmed the District. Revelers, including self-avowed anarchists (1, 2) launched rocks and concrete at its ground floor windows.
