Climate Change: Finally Matter-of-Fact?

I was looking at this Mexican hurricane picture and its caption in a news photo gallery and instead of thinking: “what’s the damage?” I found myself wondering how long they had. Is it just me or have we finally reached that point where enough minds acknowledge climate change that it’s not just perceived as a point of debate but as something omnipresent, accelerating and obvious?
