Israel/Palestine: What’s Up

I thought the tone of this photo was simply perfect.

If you hadn’t heard, three Israeli girls have disappeared and Israel suspects Hamas is behind it.The other wire shots I saw related to the story were taken outside, showing Israeli soldiers walking the hills. In this instance, they have turned this child’s room in a West Bank refugee camp upside down.

But with the Israel/Palestine situation at a stalemate, and world attention on fresher things, such as the drama in Iraq or the World Cup, what else can this girl, or anyone do but look to the heavens?

UPDATE: One of the girls turned up.

Israeli troops searching for three kidnapped teenagers have turned their attention to the northern city and surrounding areas, arresting 41 Palestinians, the army said.)
