The Kidnapped White Girl Photo to Top Kidnapped White Girl Photos?
The hands on. The child’s wayward look. The Nike credo. The pure contrast in pigmentation. I wish it was the Onion, but it’s not. If there was ever a question, however, how one photo, and a particular missing girl — out of all the missing girls — could spark an international manhunt and embody a threat to the white race, this is it. BBC News dubs the girl, living in a Greek Roma camp and allegedly kidnapped, “the blonde angel.”
On the other side of the scale, many are citing the interplay of this story with the political drama in France surrounding Leonarda Dibrani. The assimilated 15-year-old who has lived in France since ’09 was pulled off a bus during a school trip and deported to Kosovo with her family. Then President Hollande, having made an example of the case as he courts the National Front, tried to split the difference by inviting her back … without her parents.
(Admittedly, this photo was that much more striking to me having just seen the embellished Tom Hanks movie where the U.S. Navy deploys in full force to defeat those four dark-as-night Somali pirates.)

A global search for her biological parents has generated thousands of calls and emails about missing children.)
