Anxiety’s All the Fashion

Givenchy Paris Fashion Week Petroff

Hollywood, Madison Avenue, 7th Avenue. They’ve all gotten pretty good at co-opting the anxieties and calamities of the times to move their wares, haven’t they? The caption of the first photo reads:

Capitol shooting

The second photo, taken on Thursday, shows a police car decimated while trying to stop a psychotic woman using her vehicle as a weapon around the Capitol. The engagement led to a brief lockdown of the area.
