Bag’s Quick Takeaways: Obama, McKayla Not Impressed

1. See what the hug started?

2. Tell me this isn’t partially about the debate in Denver.

3. Proven winners — also known to take heat for missing a bar.

4. . Meme-isis? Makes him first president to pander to…….the internet.

5. Yeah, I’m hard on myself.

6. Preview of 44B? Looser; lot less to lose. (…Double autograph for Boehner??)

7. Coming out of the election, women and youth still rising.

You know, there’s a lot to like about this guy and any number of reasons to see him as a different kind of politician, an upgrade from a decade of business-as-usual acceptance of an amazing amount of jaw-dropping weirdness — things like the BlowJob and the two term Bush Bubble.

BHO has shown he is perfectly willing to put himself in what might be unflattering visual positions, images that could set off firestorms of bad publicity from Limbaugh’s world. (Come to think of it, haven’t heard much from his Hutt-ness lately. A blessed silence that is.) Other examples include a trip to the bowling alley with cameras in tow, donning native African dress in front of public cameras. By his actions he has managed to change the tone of the national conversation for the better.

    Four more years. Yes.

Not that I disagree with you on any of your points but to me it showed a man who is aware of the world around him and doesn’t take himself too seriously.

Despite the fact that this is so clearly posed, it looks far more natural than “the hug.”

Peggy Noonan has a great picture accompanying today’s incomprehensible drivel:

Looks like a Dad who’s paid attention to his two daughters.
