    Ouch. I misread the sign held by the child on the right as MO FO RICK!

    I’m part of the lapsed Catholic constituency. Santorum represents neither the Church I remember, nor (if the polls showing a minority of Catholics supports Santorum are to be believed) the Church which exists in this country today. He’s a Bill Donahue Catholic, and that’s not a compliment…

      One of my nephews who is LDS (Mormon) asked if I was going to vote for Santorum… being Catholic & all. I must’ve looked absolutely horrified because he burst out laughing. Your description of him as a “Bill Donahue Catholic” is right on the mark. Yeah, it’s not a compliment. They and their constituency are the very fringes of the lunatic fringe. And that’s not a compliment either.
