The War of Campaign ‘12. (And Then, There’s the Public.)

Confronting Romney

If the media is largely focused on GOP fratricide and all the brick-throwing camp-to-camp, what the pictures increasingly indicate is the public calling b.s., confronting candidate’s face-to-face over social and economic justice.

Confronting Santorum

With the election finally moving onto the national radar screen, it appears the spirit of Occupy is, too. That said, though, I’m wondering (not just now, but from here to November) just how much the public breaks through as a player given how characteristically big media is obsessed with the horserace.

Christie confronts

And then, looking at Christie heckling the hecklers (and getting digital ink for it on Brietbart’s site), another thing to watch is how much the GOP, post-intimate New Hampshire flips things around and uses Occupy, and women, and people of color as fall guys while railing against Obama and the Dems for waging a class war.
