Mr. Palmetto Head

Romney Palmetto Head

Not sure you saw our two Tumblr posts on how hard it is to get a good pic of Romney — this and this by Jim Wilson who seems to be managing it.

I’m not sure if it’s out of frustration, boredom (because this campaign, which never took root, is as interesting as tree rot), the sheer incongruity of Romney as the GOP’s top coconut in a state like S. Carolina, or it’s just the instinct to crown Romney now and be done with it, but I expect we’re going to see a lot more of this kind of thing.

Republican presidential contenders brought buckets of cash and sharp rhetoric to South Carolina on Wednesday for an intense 10-day battle that may determine whether anyone can stop front-runner Romney’s march to the party’s nomination. The South Carolina Primary will be held on January 21.)
