As Occupy Encampments Dwindle, the Legacy

This woman’s brother having been arrested the day before, this November 17th photo from Occupy LA brought to mind the rite of passage so many young people have experienced over the past few months. If organizers are savvy, the movement will evolve. Even still, young people have grown.

    There should no let up to OWS. None. If we leave, then the filthy corporations and their filthy, billions have won. No way, no how. The people must stand strong in wind, heat, snow, sleet, rain. We don’t have the money, but we have our bodies, signs, brains, and numbers. I plan to march on Dec. 10th with the ACLU and others to our city hall from 10 to 1. We can’t allow the 1% to beat up on the 99%. It just can’t happen or we are done, kaput, finished, cooked, screwed and will be working for 3.00 per hour by the time they are finished with us. It can’t happen and just can’t. Forget any advocates for the people; that’s a thing of the past. We our are own advocates and have to fight like crazy. It is as pure and simple as that.
