Guy in White Pointy Hat Regrets Voting 4 Obama

Tea Party Express Dunce Cap

I don’t think the guy in the dunce cap at the (not-exactly-huge) Tea Party Express kick-off tour in Napa would have gotten as much newswire attention if the get-up didn’t visually echo the KKK. Campaign season is already heating up.  (Because the angle does make a difference, by the way, these two other views – 12 – offer the word “dunce” on the hat.)

Hundreds of people were in attendance as the Tea Party Express kicked off the “Reclaiming America” bus tour that will wind its way through 19 states and visit 29 cities before arriving in Tampa, Florida for a presidential debate co-sponsored by CNN on September 12.)

Actually, it’s doubly ironic because Obama hangs out with the ’school reform’ crowd that thinks Michelle Rhee is the bee’s knees.

Regretting voting for Obama is obviously dunce-like behavior. We might have had President McCain and Vice President Palin…

Gah. I’m so sick of people beating up Obama when they should be chasing House Republicans while waving pitchforks in the air…

They just can’t help themselves can they.

I don’t think he ever voted for Obama.  If asked to explain, he would probably explain that he symbolizes someone who voted for Obama.  But I’m quite sure he never did.

Alternate name for Tea Party Express -  Rush To Oblivion.  This is nearly the saddest picture you’ve ever posted.

Tinwoman nailed it – typical Republican lies to convince you of something.

Is the gentleman on the left, dressed in blue pack’n heat??!!

He might be packin’ a cell phone.

the fact he opted out of appearing in blackface while holding a watermelon counts as progress, i guess.

slide 7: nice to see the counter protesters.

I agree that this dude is LYING, but what if he were taken at face value?  What if he did vote for Obama and now has regrets?  This is going to be a major theme.  It’s not that people would have preferred McCain (thanks for that reminder, TopCathy) it’s just that people are disappointed in the constant capitulation to the right-leaning outcomes that Captain Compromise has managed to achieve.

The crazy thing is that the population is So polarized, that Obama has found the middle ground and there’s NOBODY THERE.  The right aren’t happy – they are still calling him a socialist.  The left see him as a tool for his new Wallstreet buddies.
