Cracking News Corp Open and Lachlan’s Tat Too
Seems noteworthy somehow that Lachlan Murdoch is captured with Daddy Rupert sporting a tattoo. Not exactly sure what it means, though. Something about the assertiveness of the young guard … but maybe not so different than the old guard? (There’s that, and also the PR strategy of putting Lachlan in the driver’s seat now that brother James, the otherwise heir-apparent, has his head on the chopping block.) Anyway, I really love the smug look(s), as well as the suit-on-the-street walking toward the car through the glass. It helps creates the impression that we’re inside.
…And, to the extent the empire is cracking wide open, lights suddenly glaring from everywhere, how true.
