Zany Zuckerberg Taking Over the World
Funny how this works (the first and fifth photos from the G-8 website, the rest from the newswire). Zuckerberg might look like the impish pubescent boy-genius, as if Mick Jagger hit The Élysée Palace. At the same time, MZ and Facebook carries so much cultural, technological and financial weight that it’s the world’s elite politicians (yeah, and Sarko’s house staff) that look ridiculous. pandering or insignificant in his presence.
Sarko pimping for the brand, eyes on Mark.
Given Google’s scale and now the prime-mover association with Egypt’s Revolution 2.0, Schmidt — with the lower profile — is a walking billboard for globalization.
Yeah, don’t worry about those people in the background. Just thank you for coming, Mark, and thank you also for the Arab Spring.
