Palin Wisconsin

Having dug herself a big hole following the Giffords shooting, Sarah Palin was working overtime (guess that’s a pun, if you’re punching the clock) trying to reinsert herself back into the political picture. (If you’re interested in the latest accessorizing, by the way, goodbye Star of David and hello big clunky holy week cross to go with the jeweled flag bling.)

It was one thing to bask in the glow when the Tea Party had the media to itself and there was no end to the eccentricity. However, with Wisconsin the lightening rod for a two-sided battle driven by quite sober political and economic concerns, Palin is looking less substantive by comparison in the inclement weather, fighting a mixed crowd of supporters and protesters, her blue collar fan appeal splintered by the anti-labor stance … and after having lined up with Trump, the poster child for opportunism, the other day.

Palin was the major voice of small town, “real American,” values. Now she has serious competition in presenting the un-Obama images.http://www.deliberatelyconsidered.com/2011/01/dc-year-in-review-democracy-in-america/

Sarah Palin has truly ‘jumped the shark’, especially with the damning book coming out written by a disgruntled former aide who relates how she loathed every minute as Governor.

B: Yes, and I loathe J. McCain for giving us this dim, nasty, shrill, narcissistic woman. She now haunts me every time I turn on my computer. Oh, did I mention phony? Take a look at that huge cross. She is not more ‘Christian’ than the Man in the Moon. She truly is a nightmare that will not go away.

Wearing silver doesn’t help. It just screams “I got money bitches!” and you don’t. Plus the cross just highlights her shoving Christianity in everyone faces while acting most un-christian.

Not so much an image comment, but a comment on her speech – when she shrieked the bit about “Governer Walk wants to help ,/b> you, he’s trying to save your jobs!” reminded me exactly of Piper Laurie in the climactic scene in “Carrie,” raptuously claiming that she just wanted to SAVE Carrie – before stabbing her with a butcher knife.
