Pneumonia on Rye
In light of the GOP’s health care repeal plans, and the impetus to axe social services and corporate regulations (did you catch how much Big Health got behind former HMO mogul, Rick Scott’s Florida campaign? by the way), I see this wire photo as being as much predictive as descriptive. It conjures a future where health services are provided ad hoc, not just by medical street teams for the homeless in diners, but for most everybody outside the upper sphere.
And, like the guy sitting at the counter oblivious to it all, chances are that, if and as the support systems get shredded, people will be none the wiser.
