1. Yeah, Diwali. There’ll be a quiz on it.

2. Closing the passion gap after mid-term shellacking? Unfortunately, the read is still “President Spock.”

3. Halftime of the GOP-White House Corrosion Bowl

4. The CEO dance without the CEO’s

5. Birther bait?  (This is also a tricky one.)

6. …Of course, you knew it wouldn’t take much.

I may pshop an air guitar in there. Hold on… there. You see it ?

Why haven’t you covered the story telling of how the Indian media is aghast! that they have to wire the Central Hall of Parliament with teleprompters. From the hindustantimes dot com…

This will be the first time a teleprompter will be used in the nearly 100-feet high dome-shaped hall that has portraits of eminent national leaders adorning its walls.

Indian politicians are known for making impromptu long speeches and perhaps that is why some parliament officials, who did not wish to be named, sounded rather surprised with the idea of a teleprompter for Obama.

“We thought Obama is a trained orator and skilled in the art of mass address with his continuous eye contact,” an official, who did not wish to be identified because of security restrictions, said.

But we still lurves the guy, don’t we ?

You got a point- not everyone is as eloquent and loquacious a speaker as W.

” He was tremendous at reading teleprompters. I have come out of speeches where he was reading teleprompters and people said, ‘My goodness, how did he do that? He memorized that speech perfectly.’ The camera was really one of his strong points.”

Both images capture the special joy that children bring into their world, a mixture of curiosity, sincerity, and awe when they’re at the top of their game. Transcends culture, seems to be present in every child.

If I were looking for a way to change a nation’s focus from endless narcissistic, petty bickering I’d certainly try reminding everyone of more important uses of our attentions — like spending time with kids.
