The legitimate media should hold off making judgments about people until they have all the facts . Ms Sharrod has worked to make this country great for all people .If you are any other media decides to bring up race for reporting you should do it in the context of where this country was , how it mistreated minorities privately and through government lack of of action on behalf of all its citizens and then report on where we are now where it is now

Conservative zealots are trying so hard to CYA over racism charges that they’ve replaced rational thought with skepticism, and skepticism with cynicism. The real crime is that infotainment sources are suckers for cynicism.

Why have we forgotten this nation was founded on self-evident truth that our unalienable rights come from God thereby placing authority over such rights beyond the reach of man or government, giving cause for man to break away from any government attempting to usurp authority over his God-given rights, like our forefathers did from England? I think this forgetfulness stems from the decades of removing God from the public arena.

What I heard in Shirley Sharrod’s speech was a woman sharing her story about how God began to open her eyes to see beyond black and white. I hope we all will listen as he opens our eyes to the truth that we are all his children.

When will we realize the only way to maintain our Republican form of gov. is to turn back to the principle that we are One Nation Under God and focus on our God given similarities rather than our differences?
