Pray for the Almighty (and Ridiculously Photogenic) Dome

Rube Goldberg?

Update: Someone sent this screenshot to me this evening.

Beyond the look of a graphic from high school science class, the manipulation of the image by the telestrator guy emphasizes how we get brought up to speed on life’s complexities these days.

Did I hear someone say, the knee bone’s-connected-to-the-thigh-bone?

Wishin’ and hopin’. Just wishin’, and hopin’, and thinkin’, and prayin’, Planning and dreamin’ that the laser focus of all our longing will make this thing work like we want.

Where are the graphics for the dispersant chemicals which are adding to the toxicity of the waters of the Gulf even as the oil keeps gushing from the pipes? I guess that’s just not as photogenic.

The shadow of the Dome of Pleasure
    Floated midway on the waves,
Where was heard the mingled measure
From the fountain and the caves.
It was a miracle of rare device:
A sunny Pleasure-Dome with caves of ice!
