GOP Does Job on Itself
I’m less surprised by the National Republican Senatorial Committee attack ad intimating Ohio Democrat Senate hopeful Lee Fisher is masturbating than I am over how the GOP has given up even the pretense of guardianship over modesty, morality and Christianity.
If you watch the ad (derived from this original video Fisher’s son shot), the use of the wave effect and the double entendre surrounding the word “job” is so blatant, it’s hard to imagine how anybody could have thought this might be effective.
I mean, didn’t the Republicans build a franchise around the “Moral Majority?” Remarkably, has the GOP given up playing to the sanctimony of the Christian Conservatives?
