The New BagNewsNotes is on the way! (#1)

Late this month. We’ll be talking about it more in the next few weeks.

  • Kit (Keep It Trill)

Congrats, but one question if you don’t mind. I’ve always been curious about how you decided to name of your site, Bag News Notes.

  • Michael Shaw (The BAG)

I copied the paragraph below from “The Publisher” link in the sidebar. You might get a kick out of the BAGnews link to see what the original site actually looked like.
The BAGnewsNotes blog began in June 2003. If you’re interested in where the name came from, the current site grew out of a civics tool/visual experiment/political cartoon called BAGnews. Beginning in mid-2004, however, spurred by perceived peculiarities in the photo coverage of the Bush-Kerry presidential campaign, I turned my attention to this new “discipline” — the visual analysis of political images.

  • Rightwingsnarkle

For some reason, this reminds me of the original ad series for the Infinity, when that brand of automobiles was first released.
As Johnny Carson said, (that’s how long ago I’m talking about), “Those ads aren’t moving many cars, but sales of rocks and trees are up dramatically.”
Gentle snark aside, looking forward to your new stuff.
