The Hardly Audible anti-HCR Noise Machine. (Or: The Week the Tea Party Became a Caricature of Itself)

I thought the guy in the top pic was wearing the Cuban flag. Turns out it’s similar but the red white and blue colors are in different places.

OK, so I heard about this “Impeach Obama” thing that has some of the Right riled up (after years of mocking calls for Bush’s impeachment on real charges of war crimes). But what is their charge? What crime has Obama done, besides not being white and Republican, that would lead to an impeachment?
Do they even know what it is?

The “baggers ” are certainly cartoonish if nothing else.

The really creepy element to this photograph is that the people participating at the edges, not those in costume, look so damn ordinary, like people I see every day. I wonder if Beck or anyone else in Fox’s employ could incite them to violence against others. Oh, I forgot, it’s already been done. I think O’Reilly’s ideas found a home in the mind of a guy who went looking to kill “libruls” in church.

Let’s hope the strap on his metal flag-holder gizmo doesn’t snap, or he could end up as Captain Soprano.
