Ahh, yes.

(photo: Shuji Kajiyama/AP. caption: Former U.S. President George W. Bush, second right, smiles as cheerleaders sing the school song at Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan, Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009. I heard them singing the Waseda High School song on internet radio earlier. They seem to have modified the lyrics slightly, although I’ve lost the command of Japanese I had when I was stationed in Osaka. Here’s my rough translation:
Hail to thee, Waseda High School
    Sing our glorious song!
George Bush, well he’s an asshole
    Sing our glorious song!
In hot July and cold November
    Sing our glorious song!
This Bush didn’t vomit like the last one
    Sing our glorious song!
Hail to thee, Waseda High School
    Sing our glorious song!
It’s Waseda not Wasilla thank God for that
    Sing our glorious song!

    Oh.
At least he’s not bowing and scraping, as BHO did to Emperor Akihito.
    Bowing and scraping, again.

Bowing is an act of deference, specifically one of deference to social betters. In Western society, this means royalty or nobility.
We don’t have any of that shit in the United States. Oh, we have social classes, all right, but even after the continued efforts of Progs and Leftoids over the last half-century there is still class mobility, and (more importantly) social class isn’t embedded in our laws or Constitution.
Nobody bows to the President, which is correct; he isn’t a social class superior to anybody. The President shouldn’t bow to Kings, Emperors, etc. because he isn’t a social class inferior, either. The correct box to check on the information form isn’t inferior or superior; it’s [X] Not Applicable.
When Obama bows to a King or Emperor, he’s joining their system of nobility as an inferior, and by extension placing all of the rest of us Americans in an inferior social class. F* that for a game of soldiers. I absolutely refuse to accept that I’m in any way inferior to somebody whose ancestor was a Hapsburg simply because of that ancestry, and you ought to feel the same way. We’re Americans. We don’t recognize that system, don’t accept it, and don’t abide by it — or shouldn’t.

Your caption is so perfect for the photo, I can hardly bear it.
    Thanks for the laugh.

Good on ya George, happy is the man who returns to a successful callin.
‘Mr. Benedict grew extremely fond of George. The next head cheerleader, Michael M. Wood, said he was taken aside by Mr. Benedict and told that ***George had raised Andover’s school spirit to its highest level since Mr. Benedict had joined the school, in 1930′***

5 million orphaned children in Iraq — almost half of that country’s children — and approximately 100,000 violent civilian deaths. more than 6,000 US and UK soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, not to mention thousands more who were maimed or disfigured. all thanks entirely to this man and his administration.
but hey, at least he’s not “bowing and scraping,” right? we’re Amurrcans! like my man G-dub! we don’t walk hand in hand with saudi princes, or make sure the bin laden family gets out of the country before a major terrorist attack… we’re nobody’s dancing monkey!
    once again, an epic fail.
