I observe the railing behind our Christian brothers, John Ensign & Doug Hampton, & imagine three Behinds impaled, if only for a moment on those spiked shafts.
(Please, believe me, this is just a fleeting thought a momentary lapse into sado-masochism or because its in the DNA inherited from my distant maternal grandmother, Margaret Scott, hung as a witch in Salem in 1692)

Interesting how vulnerable Hammond looks compared to Ensign. His arms behind his back, leaving his belly/nethers exposed. Ensign's suit coat looks protective. Hammond's expression is open, and smiling while Ensign's is more posed. Knowing the backstore as we do now, we assume that this was taken before Hammond was aware of what was going on.
The ambulance in the background takes on a little more meaning now that we know there's a trainwreck coming for these two.

There is an elephant in the room.
I can see it :
All people who follow, live by or are othrewise devoted to organised religion are either weak-minded , dishonest or both.
Period. Full stop.

They tie up heavy loads and put them on men’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.
5“Everything they do is done for men to see: They make their phylacteriesa wide and the tassels on their garments long; 6they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues; 7they love to be greeted in the marketplaces and to have men call them ‘Rabbi.’
