Amen, DennisQ. At least the Obama and Lieberman cheek to cheek is a bit more elegant than this.
A diss? Perhaps. But, that interpretation automatically rules out a possible Obama/Emanuel/Lieberman alignment on HCR that has also been speculated – and, with reason, if all the evidence is taken into consideration.

i do agree allowing lieberman to retain his chairmanship is an indication of tolerance for corruption. reid allowed him to keep it. dept. of homeland defense needs to be cleaned out. contractors like blackwater and KBR need to be investigated. areas and process which are under lieberman’s preview. allowing lieberaman to retain his chair was just another way to shield bush and his cronies from accountability.

Obama should be careful letting that snake get so close to his neck! Keep a vial of anti-venom ready….

Honestly, Joe Lieberman makes me want to puke.

Lieberman has the hands of a person who has handled paper all of his life. No muscle, no strength. Just shifting paper around.

Lieberman has the face of a person who ought to lose his Chairmanship of Homeland Security. What’s the matter with Harry Reid?
