But He Really Hasn’t Done Anything Yet — Right? (#2)

As I’m putting together a talk on Obama for FotoWeek DC, and thus looking over iconic photos from this past year, it makes me realize: 1.) how elegantly and effectively the mind blunts past tension and trauma, and 2.) how easily it all comes back — in this visual of “change,” for example — when you see it in pictures.

It’s good that you highlighted this, Bag, because I don’t think we (American in USA) appreciate just how effective the Cairo speech was. Both in its form & substance.

the most multi-cultural and worldly audience shot I’ve ever seen engaged in a thoughtful dialogue.
How can it be that the population at large in the USA has become so jaded that they can’t see this kind of progress?
