Which End Is Up?

Medvedev Baltic.jpg

It’s hard to trust we’ve really got a “new partner” in applying Iran sanctions when such goofiness only reinforces who’s really running the show. The image is part of a package of “trying hard” pics on the wire today from Medvedev’s photo op at one of Russia’s Baltic fleet weapons and military equipment centers near Kaliningrad.

Also notice, by the way, how the Russian photo-op offers up images (1, 2) that are surprisingly reminiscent of scenes of the allied landing, during WWII, at Omaha Beach.
