    Seeing those pictures of Bush mugging reminds me again how needy he was for attention. It’s not enough that he was the guest of honor, he had to upstage even musicians and scholarship students. “Lookit me!” I am reminded of the story how as a child he tried to cheer up his mother after his sister’s death, by clowning around and joking. It’s as if he were emotionally arrested at that age. Sad, pathetic man should never have been elected President. The entire experience was the acme of his life’s quest for attention.
