Parity

shell time obama clinton.jpg

Another incredible picture by Callie Shell. This was taken Wednesday in Florida. It’s titled “Unity,” but I like “parity” better.

I think Americans decided weeks ago that Obama exceeds McCain in both judgement and strength of character. In that regard, scenes like this only seal the deal. Clinton is not just an emotional, intellectual and charismatic force; he’s also a larger physical presence than Obama. Not to mention, he has also been flaming Obama for the better part of the last year.

In the image, despite all that loading, Obama demonstrates he’s got it in hand.
