We Are All Georgians Now. (At Least, We Were Last Month)

Mccain Saakashvili

Two weeks ago, Schmidt/Palin/McCain would have killed to hold a sit down with their Georgian hero, Saakashvili.  At this point, however, with Wall Street burning and McCain under fire for his lobbyist/CEO connections, this encounter at the U.N. looked more like changing the subject.

It really did seem, by the way, that Palin was staring at Yushchenko’s face.

Update:  In retrospect, McCain’s look of distraction (in this, and many of the other newswire pics) seemed to telegraph his campaign suspension stunt which he executed afterward.

Please send this to your friends and family!
RFK, Jr.: “Let me tell you about one other of these scams people should know about. If you’re a newly registered voter – and of course the Democrats have done these gigantic registration drives – 12 million people on registration – if you’re a new voter you MUST include your license or some other state I.D. when you come to vote. What that means is that if you’re a college kid (and college kids now – they’re sending in absentee ballots – they’re not going to the voting place, they do everything online or they do everything remotely – they don’t dream of going to the precinct house voting on election day and waiting in a long line) so if they send in the absentee ballot and they don’t include a color copy of their license their vote is going to be thrown into a trash can. And none of these people know this because you have had to read the law in order to know it. So there is no notification for when you fill out your registration form, so all of those 12 million people that the Democrats have registered: those ballots are going to be just thrown out.

Will Sarah Palin still be on their Christmas Card mailing list after the November election? I would think probably not, but on the basis of all these warm and sincere, lasting friendships she has made over the last two days, I am probably wrong.
Could she now simply pass a 40 question test, just matching the names to the faces. My bet is that she would score a 50%, or less.

She is so not ready! Watch video of the interview with Katie Couric and view transcript!

Wow, what cheap hotel room is the Talibani meeting in? No matching armchairs.

Sigh. Yeah, not only is she staring at Yushchenko’s face like a slack-jawed yokel (the linked Palin pic), but you seen her shirking completely away from him, hunching up in the far side of her chair — away from him. Nice.
She is in SO over her head. McCain’s distracted grin makes it look like he’s having a party in his pants. Perhaps the pill kicked in earlier than usual for him?
