A Noun, A Verb, And A POW (The Size Of Minnesota)

What makes you think McCain is exploiting his POW service for political gain?

In the current day US jargon/policy what happened to McCain is not defined as torture.
Back then it was torture, but his party has changed the meaning of torture.
He was never water-boarded and he never had electrodes attached to his nads.
This photo and event looked more like a promotion for the use of torture than the election of McCain.

If Republicans could outright attack John Kerry’s Vietnam experience; why is McCain’s experience so relevant?
He got caught! In tag or hide n’ seek that means you’re out, you’re finished, done, game over.
That huge screen makes this RNC event look like a Hollywood production without the sex & cigarettes.

I find this image to be beyond disturbing.

Reminds me of photos of Chairmen Mao, Lenin & Stalin preserved after their deaths. In this case, the eyes are open. A new cult of personality? Or a gross obscenity?

Did the next sign quote McCain’s Vietcong propaganda statement? “I am a black criminal and I have performed the deeds of an air pirate. I almost died and the Vietnamese people saved my life, thanks to the doctors.”

All the photos of the RNC on the large screen last night were hideous. I wish I could have seen more of it to get the full effect. Mostly I saw close ups of Fred but occassionally they would go to wide screen. The crowd was put in a pretty bad state by the POW story. It was almost like Fred was trying to torture the crowd with his speech to help them get the full effect. You could tell they didn’t want to hear anymore of it, but Fred just kept on going and going on about it. Everyone looked sick but I didn’t see any tears. Not even from McCains mom. Maybe because it is an old story and they all, we all have heard it a hundred times. During the DNC convention I saw a lot of tears. And not just during Obamas speech. And they were tears of joy and hope. Joy that we have finally found a leader that could save our contry from the GOP. Hope that this good and right candidate named Obama could give us back a country that we could be proud of once again.

As Letterman said last night, running for President is ruining John McCain.
