A Call For The BAG

Palin-Mccain-Bag-Final

I seriously never thought I’d do another BAG again, it being years now, but this situation is so frickin weird, it just came out of me.

The geriatric McCain campaign desperately needed an infusion of energy. If the VP nominee had been a charismatic male candidate, he would have overshadowed McCain and voters might have perceived the ticket as being upside down. No one is likely to draw a direct comparison between Palin and McCain. McCain can play the seasoned patriarch while Palin represents the energetic next generation of Republicans.
The GOP are masters at manipulating public perception in order to win elections, they just really suck at governing.

I don’t really get the symbolism of The Bag. Bag News? They have pulled a bag over our heads. But I get the point about this election. McCain has fallen through the cracks. Hunkered in the bunker, riding the storm out. The news cycle is and will continue to be the All Palin Network 24/7. Feels like a David Copperfield moment. They just made the republican elephant disappear right before our eyes, or rather, morph into a Phoenix. We were all watching like hawks. Nobody can believe how they did it, or or what we just saw. Just poof!, and it’s over. Left here shaking our heads.

Actually this is an interesting point. How was it exactly that McCain’s campaign came back to life? Who wants him to be president? How did Palin get on the ticket? Whose trojan horse is she? …. Okay, I’ll take my tin foil hat off now.

I keep feeling like McCain is a dirty old man lusting after his third wife here…
Especially when the RNC has their “hottest VP” buttons on.

Well, I’ll put my tinfoil hat on, and say McPOW better watch his back if he gets to the w/h with her in tow. The so-called ‘christian’ right seems to have a low threshold in calling for the deaths of people who are not like them. After all the ‘council on national policy’ vetted her. Okay…t/f hat off now!!!

Thanks for this Graphic! I, too, reach for the bag!
