Gustav is starting to remind me of Terri Schiavo.

Bush is trying to make this his “do over.” Note the furrowed brow. Furrowing his brow is what he thinks is the job of a president.

What a slacker. he hasn’t even rolled his sleeves up yet.

Sad to think this is only because of the political backlash, not because its right or proper.

I agree that the time for “concerned action” was in the past. Three years later, less than 20% of the protections are rebuilt. That means they were counting on no further hurricanes for over 15 years? That’s ridiculous.
I just can’t look at that man without my mind screaming, “FAILURE!!”.

Profligacy…’recklessly wasteful’…comes to mind when I see this man. All that wasted time that can’t be called back. His legacy is set, no matter the desperate spinning of the last 18 months.
