What Your Average GOP Congressman Has On His Mind

Gopconcernsbubble300

Hastertsmindrev1

Why would good ole Denny Hastert suddenly be so concerned about the legal plight of one black Democratic congressman?  Well, once the Feds start poking around the office drawers, closets and even freezers of U.S. Representatives, who has more to lose — the single bad apples, or that whole nasty network of long-entrenched Repub leadership?

    Hilarious.

The old crook Hastert realizes that whatever dirt the FBI has on Jefferson is nothing compared to his and his colleagues’ own dirty laundry. So he’s forced to come to the aid of an African-American Democrat. That must stick in his racist craw.

    These comments come to mind:
    1. As always, one crook protecting the other!
    2. It proves there is no difference between the democrat and the republican, it is one party, with confused names, or it fits the “lets play democracy for plebeians.”
    3. No real changes.
    4. “All in the family” not called la cosa nostra, but Congress and Senate!
    5. Is it a priciple?, suddenly to protect what??? What is left to protect? The priviledged? and not the ones who had their phone calls all defiled by NSA! Too late and too little noise!

This a time for extreme caution. There’s reason and purpose behind the traditional separation of powers. There should be no meddling with the standards here without the most bestest of reasons. Exhaust all alternative courses of action first.
The pattern is clear. This Executive Branch lacks the necessary cognitive capabilities to meet the challenges before us. Rather than admit the painfully obvious and recruit the missing cognition this Executive tries to substitute brawn, to use force as persuasion. Torture is an admission of failure.

Very good! Into political cartooning are we now? Fine by me, keep going if you want…

The republicans were clucking and snickering about William Jefferson (think Clinton) and those crooked democrats (there have been two, right?). Until the FBI walked into THEIR offices and started kicking A’s and taking names.
Separation of powers and all that……but what to do when the entire system has been so corrupted that the only resort left for the (all too pliant) populace is to throw them all out and start over.
